A man is due to appear in Salisbury Magistrates Court today in connection with a string of burglaries from business premises across Wiltshire.

Andrew Alexander, 44, of Park Road, Trowbridge, has been charged with 14 burglaries - from premises in Devizes, Chippenham, Corsham, and Royal Wootton Bassett - and a public order offence.

The burglaries took place between April 7 and May 24 this year.

Alexander was arrested yesterday (Wednesday, May 25), and charged and remanded in custody, to appear in court today.

Wiltshire Police say the charges follow a lengthy investigation by officers from the force's Fortitude team.
