A MAN found guilty of assault has been ordered to pay more than £700, one year after the attack.
Timothy Hara, aged 40, had pleaded not guilty to assaulting a woman by beating in Tidworth on February 1, 2021.
Heard by Salisbury Magistrates' Court in February of this year however, Hara was found guilty.
At a sentencing on March 28, 2022, Hara, of no fixed abode, was ordered to pay costs of £625 and a victim surcharge of £95.
He was ordered to take part in a 'Building Better Relationships' programme, attend activities and appointments as instructed by an officer, and complete 80 hours of unpaid work.
