Trainspotters flocked to see the 60103 Flying Scotsman steam train as it pulled into Salisbury this afternoon.
The sun was shining as people waited on the platform to watch its arrival.

The Scotsman began its journey shortly before 9am this morning at London Victoria, taking guests on a day trip to Salisbury.
Exact timings could not be publicly confirmed before its arrival due to crowd safety concerns.
