A Salisbury man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a woman.
Benjamin Justin James Mortimer, 25, of Westwood Road, pleaded guilty to the offence at Salisbury Magistrates Court on February 23.
Appearing by livestream, Mortimer had originally pleaded not guilty on September 11, 2021 but later changed his plea.
He was charged with intentionally touching a woman in a sexual manner, when she did not consent or he did not reasonably believe she was consenting.
The offence took place on August 24, 2020, at a location between Marden and Pewsey in Wiltshire.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is at least 16 years old.
Mortimer has been remanded on unconditional bail until April 4, where he will appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court for sentencing.
