With oil prices at a record high, motorists and businesses have been feeling the pinch of spiralling costs at the pump.
Combined with the increase in the cost of living, the rise in fuel costs has been exacerbated by the conflict in Ukraine, with fears Russia's invasion could affect supplies.
The price per barrel of Brent crude – the most commonly used way of measuring the UK’s oil price – reached 139 US dollars on Monday, which was its highest level in 14 years.
As costs remain high, the Journal has put together a list of petrol stations offering the lowest prices in and around Salisbury, according to information services provider PetrolPrices.
As of 5pm on Friday, March 11, the eight cheapest places are:
BP, Downton Road - 157.9p for unleaded - 165.9p for Diesel
