Salvation Army
Salisbury Salvation Army, on Salt Lane, is open this week from Thursday to Sunday to accept financial gifts for Ukraine.
The church and charity says money raised will fund relief work in Ukraine and also provide help to the countries surrounding Ukraine’s borders for refugees fleeing the country.
Online donations are also welcome on their JustGiving page, which you can access by clicking here.
Head to Toe nail salon
Nail salon Head to Toe, on Winchester Street, is organising donations in solidarity with Ukraine.
They are appealing for thermal blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, toys, new or undamaged clothes, waterproof jackets, underwear, soap, shower gel, toothpaste and toothbrushes, hairbrushes, sanitary pads and antiseptics.
Donations can be dropped off at the salon tomorrow (Tuesday, March 1), between 9am and 6pm.
You can also drop them off at softplay business Solstice Play, on London Road, Amesbury, during their working hours (9.30am–3pm Tuesday-Friday, and 9.30am–11am Saturday and Sunday).
