Here are four cases that have recently been dealt with at Salisbury Magistrates Court.

HARRY EDWARDS, aged 35, of Hudson Road, Salisbury, was jailed for 21 weeks for having a knife in a public place on January 1. He also pleaded guilty to intentionally damaging windows, doors and a hanging basket, and a Wiltshire Police vehicle, also on January 1. The jail sentence was actioned as Edwards was on a post sentence supervision order, and due to his record of previous offending. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128.

CHRISTINE ANGELA STUCKEY, aged 57, of Glyndebourne Close, Bemerton Heath, pleaded guilty to permitting another to use a Ford Focus without the appropriate policy of insurance. The incident was recorded along Rampart Road, Salisbury, on June 10, 2021. Stuckey was fined £80 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. Her driving record was endorsed with six points.

LEWIS PHILIP MARTIN, aged 26, of Littlemoor Road, Weymouth, pleaded guilty to exceeding the legal alcohol limit while driving in Tidworth. On December 12, 2021, Martin was recorded driving an Audi A3 along the A338 Shipton Bellinger with 66 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £400 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. Martin was disqualified from driving for 17 months.

JAMES GRIFFITHS, aged 60, of Primrose Place, Durrington, pleaded guilty to harassing another. The conduct was considered harassment as Griffiths was pursuing unwanted contact with the victim through telephone, email and eBay, between June 17 and August 10, 2021. He was fined £146 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.
