Even if you can't get a booking for Valentine's Day itself, as it is recommended to book well in advance, it is worth the wait for a romantic evening or fiesta with friends.

This restaurant is perfect if you're going for the 'wow' factor. Serving British cuisine with a modern twist, this independent, family-run restaurant prides itself on its welcoming atmosphere and delicious dinners. 

Situated in the heart of Salisbury, close to the cathedral, it is a great place to start your evening. 

#3 The Chapter House

This traditional pub is perfect for a date, and even has a three-course Valentine's Menu running between February 11 and 14.

For those who enjoy their meal with a taste of history, the building itself is thought to be around 800 year old with some of the original features are still intact.

Pizza Venti is Trip Advisor's most highly recommended Italian resturant in the city, and for good reason. Its woodfired pizzas are made from a traditional Italian recipe, made daily and grown in a lengthy process, according to the owners.
