BOSCOMBE Down Aviation Collection (BDAC) in Old Sarum says it is "delighted" to be entrusted with two iconic aircraft.
The museum, which is located at Hangar One South on Old Sarum Airfield, has added to its collection with the arrival of an Avro 707A WZ736 and English Electric P1A WG763, which came from Manchester.

Both have had to reassembled before going on display.
BDAC project director, Squadron Leader John Sharpe, said that the Collection was "delighted to be entrusted with the two iconic aircraft" and thanked the RAF Museum for its continuing support and "looked forward to displaying WZ736 and WG763 to a wider public".

A spokesperson for the RAF Museum added that it was delighted the aircraft were going on loan to the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection and it was the RAF Museum’s purpose to "extend the reach of the RAF story by sharing its collection with new audiences".
