A Bulford mum is on track to open her first Beauty Salon locally, and has shared a sneak peek with the Journal.
In February, Jenny Robson will open Bella Brows Beauty and Aesthetics on Meadow Road, in Bulford.
The 46-year-old began providing beauty treatments as a hobby and soon realised it was her passion, undertaking both medical and beauty qualifications.
Having offered treatments from a set-up in her garden previously, Jenny is "excited" to have her own permanent spot after the previous owner, Karma Hair, put the new premises up for sale.
"I love making people happy," she said.
"The best thing for me is when someone messages you, and they say ‘you’ve made me feel so good about myself’ and they’re like ‘I feel amazing’."
On what led her to take the leap to start her own business, Jenny said: “I want my daughter to have something for when she is older.”
She also added it was a personal project too.
“I started doing it and just fell in love with it.”
Jenny has been a childminder for 11 years, a foster mum previously, and a volenteer for Cats Protection Agency and Dogs Trust.
With help from her daughter Cassa-Mai Lewis, 18, and her niece Anne Marie Brann, 39, and employee Hayley, the salon is able to offer a wide range of treatments from eyebrow tattooing to botox.
Her partner Ian Lewis, 48, and her niece's partner Shane Graham, 43, are currently hard at work getting the salon ready for clients.
They already have a good clientele that Jenny describes as growing fast, so she said she's very excited to get started and joked it is just the first salon of her new "empire".
On January 29 they hope to welcome visitors to admire the completed work, and they will welcome clients from February 1.
