A Salisbury teenager was fined over £200 for possessing cocaine.
Tyrese Aaron Tilley, 19, of Winding Way, Bemerton Heath, was charged with possessing a quantity of the controlled class A drug, contrary to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
This Act is in place to prevent the misuse of controlled drugs, and bans the possession, supply, manufacture, import and export of illegal substances.
Tilley was caught with the drug in Swindon on March 8, 2021 and indicated a guilty plea at Salisbury Magistrates' Court on January 10, 2022.
He was fined £120, as well as having to pay an additional £34 to fund victim services and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
In total, he must pay £239 by Febuary 7, 2022.
