A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision near Andover yesterday.

A car and a motorcycle were involved in a crash on Tidworth Road, Ludgershall, yesterday afternoon (December 15).

The road near Andover was partially blocked with slow-moving traffic yesterday, according to AA Traffic News.

Wiltshire Police attended the scene after receiving the call around 3pm.

The road took around three hours to be cleared.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “At around 3.10pm yesterday (December 15), we were called to a road traffic collision on Tidworth Road, Ludgershall.

“It involved a car and a motorbike and the male motorcyclist was taken to Southampton Hospital with serious injuries.

“The road was closed until around 6pm.”
