A motorcyclist had to be taken to hospital by ambulance after a car and a bike collided this morning.
Ambulance, fire and police services were called to the site of a road traffic collision on the A362 today (Friday December 10) at 11.41am.
The two-vehicle crash occurred on Sturford Lane, near Corsley Heath, close to Longleat Safari Park.
Wiltshire Police said the incident involved a Suzuki motorbike and a Vauxhall Astra
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service crews from Frome and Warminster attended.
Firefighters released the driver of the car, who was then assessed by paramedics.
The driver of the motorbike suffered a significant injury to his foot and was being seen to by paramedics at the scene.
He was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
Emergency services completed the recovery of the vehicles and made the scene safe, reopening the road soon after 3pm.
