TWO drivers were taken to hospital after a car crash involving a taxi.

At around 9pm yesterday, November 14, an All The Sevens taxi was hit by another car along Odstock Road in Salisbury.

The resident who alerted the Journal to the crash, who wishes to remain anonymous, said the taxi was hit by a Mercedes that didn't stop as it exited Rowbarrow on to the main road.

The pictures above show the damage caused to both vehicles.

According to the resident, all of the taxi passengers were okay, but they are aware some were taken to Salisbury District Hospital for further checks.

They added one driver was breathalysed just after the crash.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “At around 9.05pm last night we were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Odstock Road, Salisbury.

“Nobody was believed to be seriously injured, but the two drivers were taken to hospital as a precaution.
