Salisbury hospital confirmed that they treated injuries from the Salisbury train crash yesterday.
Salisbury District Hospital (SDH) treated 13 people with injuries from the crash between two passenger trains in Fisherton Tunnel yesterday, October 31, four of which were admitted to hospital.
Only one patient has been discharged, but the other three are thankfully in a stable condition.
CEO at Salisbury Foundation Trust Stacey Hunter said: "I would like to thank all our colleagues who responded to this incident in a calm, professional and compassionate manner.
"We are all relieved that the outcome of the accident hasn't been more severe.”

Speaking at a press conference this afternoon, outside the hospital, Stacey said: “No one here had serious injuries, all what we would describe as minor injuries, what is better understood by the public as ‘walking wounded’.”
She confirmed injuries were predominantly soft tissue, all of the passengers who came to SDH were adult, minus two under 18-years-old.
The one passenger who remains at the hospital is male. The train driver is at another hospital.
"This was something our team was able to deal with quite quickly, so the mood of the hospital today is back to business as usual," added the hospital CEO.
“You will know the NHS, ourselves included, is in a period of really busy times anyway, but we are grateful to play our part.
“I am always confident that when something tragic like this happens, we are always in a position to respond, and that was definitely the case last night.
“I am predominantly grateful that there were not too many serious injuries.”
