These six people from Salisbury and south Wiltshire have been fined for driving carelessly on our roads.

All six were sentenced by magistrates in the past six months.

Driving without dure care and attention is a serious offence so this information is published in the public interest.

Edward Jerrom, 66, of Whatcombe Brow, Orcheston drove a Mercedes Benz without due care and attention on November 4 last year.

He pleaded guilty to the offence at Salisbury Magistrates Court last month.

He was fined £115, ordered to pay a £34 surcharge and £85 in costs.

His driving record was endorsed with three points.

Timothy Salisbury, 67, of Gainsborough Close, Salisbury drove a Vauxhall Corsa without due care and attention on July 17 last year.

The incident happened on Endless Street.

He pleaded guilty to the offence at Salisbury Magistrates Court this July.

He was fined £70, ordered to pay a £34 surcharge and £110 in costs.

His driving record was endorsed with three points.

Jake McNickle, 18, of James Road, Amesbury drove a Vauxhall Corsa without due care and attention on Netheravon Road on September 13 last year.

He pleaded guilty to the offence at Salisbury Magistrates Court in June.

He was fined £373, ordered to pay a £37 surcharge and £85 in costs.

He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Damien Warner, 49, of Fairfield Road, Salisbury drove a Mercedes Sprinter without due care and attention on the A36 on July 9 last year.

He changed his plea to guilty after previously denying the offence at Salisbury Magistrates Court in May.

He was fined £483, ordered to pay a £48 surcharge and £300 in costs.

His driving record was endorsed with three points.

Lawrence William Stokes, 85, of Dinton Road, Fovant drove a Honda CR-V without due care and attention on Wilton Road on December 4, 2019.

He pleaded guilty to the offence at Swindon Magistrates Court in May.

He was fined £230, ordered to pay a £32 surcharge and £110 in costs.

His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Jessica Futcher, 45, of Main Road, Winterbourne Dauntsey drove a Mazda without due care and attention on the A338 on January 20 last year.

She pleaded guilty to the offence at Swindon Magistrates Court in May.

She was fined £166, ordered to pay a £32 surcharge and £110 in costs.

Her driving record was endorsed with five points.
