SOME cases heard at Salisbury and Swindon Magistrates' courts:

KENNETH GLOSTER, aged 56, of Endless Street, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to intentionally damaging a door window in a hotel, to the value of £200, between May 18 and 22 last year. Gloster was discharged conditionally for six months and was ordered to pay compensation of £50.

SHAUN ROBERT LITTLE, aged 39, of Pinckneys Way, Durrington, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. On August 28 last year Little was driving a Volkswagen Golf along Stonehenge Road in Durrington with benzoylecgonine - the main metabolite of cocaine - in his blood. He was fined £323 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.

MICHAEL WILLIAM O’CONNELL, aged 72, of Simmance Way, Amesbury, admitted breaching a curfew ordered by the courts. He was absent from his curfew address between February 26 and April 28 for a total of 13 hours and 51 minutes. He was fined £50 and detained in the courthouse.

JAMIE ALEXANDER MAN-CLARKE, aged 30, of Roses Lane, Amesbury, pleaded guilty to damaging the glass pane in a door belonging to Aldi in Amesbury, to the value of £581, on December 4 last year. He was ordered to pay compensation of £581 and costs of £50.

JACK WHITE, aged 23, of Primrose Road, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis on December 13 last year. He was fined £200 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.

JACK PETER ROCHE, aged 25, of Bushy Croft, Harlow, indicated a plea of guilty to stealing alcohol from Westacre Filling Station in Salisbury, to the value of £64, on September 11 last year. He was fined £323 and was ordered to pay costs of £85, compensation of £64 and a victim surcharge of £34.

FRANCIS PATRICK LARMOUR, aged 36, of Essex Square, Harnham, failed to provide a specimen of blood for a laboratory test after he was suspected of committing a driving offence in Swindon on October 7 last year. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £135. He was ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work and was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 17 months.

JAMES WAYNE HUGHES, aged 57, of Southampton Road, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to driving a car along the A36 without the appropriate licence on May 10 last year. He was fined £146 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. His driving record was endorsed with six points.
