AFTER 18 months of closed doors and uncertainty clubbing has officially returned to Salisbury, with two trial events taking place at The Chapel over the weekend.
The venue has reopened and rebranded itself as a grassroots arts hub, but managing director Amanda Newbery has assured club nights and dance events will still be on the cards every weekend.
Two trial club nights - the racecourse Ladies Day after party and Ibiza Sessions - were held on Friday and Saturday (August 20 and 21) to test a return that was as safe and Covid-secure as possible.

Describing the parties as “emotional”, Amanda told the Journal both events were sold out by 11pm.
Following the success of these trials, The Chapel’s official first returning club night will be held this weekend, August 28, where the Courtyard room will be taken over by DJs J-Fresh and Willie B.
The Chapel Room and The Vestry are to reopen in September.
Under the Chapel Live brand, theatre, cabaret and comedy are just some of the other types of entertainment coming to the venue this autumn.
