SALISBURY'S only nightclub has announced it will be opening "very soon", after being closed throughout the whole of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Chapel Nightclub has revealed on its social media channels that the site along Milford Street will be returning "despite any rumours", and opening dates will be announced soon.
This comes after the final stage of the Covid-19 lockdown roadmap went ahead on Monday, July 19, otherwise known as 'Freedom Day'.
In a statement the nightclub said: "The Chapel will be back in full flow very very soon.
"The doors have been closed for far too long, and despite any rumours, we're here to stay.
"2021 is the rebirth of nightlife across the country and we are a part of it.
"We can't wait to dance the night away.
"Opening dates to be announced soon."
The pandemic has been no easy feat for the nighttime economy, especially The Chapel, which received its first financial boost in November, despite being closed since March.
The venue has reopened this year for specific events, and part of the building connects to the new Brown Street hospitality site round the corner, but this announcement officially confirms the return of The Chapel as a nightclub.
