Salisbury Medical Practice will continue to make face masks mandatory for patients attending any of their surgeries.
The four sites - Fisherton House, Bemerton Heath, Bishopdown and Wilton - will offer a face covering at the door to any patient who attends without one.
From 'Freedom Day' on Monday (July 19), the legal requirement for businesses to enforce masks will be dropped.
However, Boris Johnson was keen to recommend the public wear masks in crowded and enclosed areas.
It will be down to individual businesses and workplaces as to whether they will enforce the wearing of face coverings.
The practice has said that it will continue making face masks essential to protect staff and patients, saying that some people are vulnerable and some patients cannot receive their Covid vaccinations for medical reasons.
Their website warns that it is especially important to wear a face covering when in the waiting room or seeing a clinician face-to-face.
The surgery said: "We have a duty of care to protect our staff and patients. Patients will still need to wear a face covering when attending our surgeries.
"If you attend without a face covering, a member of staff will offer one at the door.
"Thank you for your understanding."
