FIREFIGHTERS were put through their paces during a training exercise at the old Leaden Hall School building.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service carried out the exercise in The Close on Monday evening, which simulated a firefighting scenario involving numerous casualties.
It involved crews from Salisbury, Amesbury and Wilton.
A post on the Wilton Fire Station Twitter page said the exercise was "simulating a property fire with several casualties reported to still be in the building, prompting us to commence firefighting and search and rescue operations."
Salisbury Fire Station said “exercises like this are essential for maintaining skills and developing teamwork”.
