EARLIER today the McDonald's in Salisbury was closed and evacuated due to a fire.
Firefighters and police officers attended.
UPDATE: McDonald's fire believed to be arson, police say
The fire was dealt with and Winchester Street reopened shortly after, but the restaurant remains closed.

Wiltshire Police and Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for comment.
