A MAIN road in Salisbury city centre has now reopened following a fire in McDonald's.
The fast food restaurant on Winchester Street has remained closed.

Earlier today Wiltshire Police said the force and firefighters were at the scene dealing with a fire.
As a result the restaurant had to be evacuated and officers closed the road from Queen Street to Rollestone Street.

The road has now reopened.
A cordon is across the entrance to McDonald's, apologising for the closure.
Wiltshire Police and Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for comment.
