PUBS and bars in and around Salisbury are recruiting new staff as venues have reopened to more customers this week.

From Monday (May 17), the hospitality industry was allowed to serve drinkers indoors for the first time in months.

As part of step three of the roadmap out of lockdown, the 'rule of six' or two households is still in force indoors, however groups of up to 30 people can now meet outdoors.

This significant milestone means pubs and bars need to employ more staff in a bid to keep up with thirsty punters.

The Journal has taken a look at just some of the places that are taking on more staff and this is what we found:

The Chapel Nightclub, Milford Street
