FILMING of series two of Netflix's hit show Bridgerton has reportedly been taking place in Wilton this week.
What looks like a set has been seen being put together on the Wilton Sheep Fayre Field near the First Wilton Scout Group hut.
And there have also been reports of filming taking place at Wilton House, where scenes in series one were shot.
Bridgerton attracted around 82 million household viewers, making it the most-watched series on Netflix.
In January 2021, the series was renewed for a second season, and in April 2021, creator Chris Van Dusen revealed on Twitter that the series had additionally been renewed for a third and fourth season.
Wilton House is no stranger to Netflix or Bridgerton.
The building was used as Queen Charlotte's royal residence (most specifically for scenes in her bedroom, parlour and garden), as well as Lady Danbury's library, the dining room of Clyvedon Castle, the site of garden parties, and the Duke of Hastings' house exterior, corridors, and study.
The Crown has also filmed many scenes there since 2015.
Netflix and Wilton House have both been contacted for comment.
