A cat was rescued by fire crews at the weekend - after it became stuck inside the engine of a car.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service sent out a crew from Shaftesbury to help "rescue a small animal".
Typically of course, we think of fire crews bravely battling ferocious flames - or perhaps rescuing a cat from up a tree.
But when the Shaftesbury crew arrived at around 11.27am on Sunday, May 2, they realised this was no ordinary feline friend mishap.
The crew were not daunted though and "got to work".
They used air bags and small tools to free the frightened pussy.
"Once released we handed it back to its owner," the crew said on Twitter.
They included the hashtag #notjustfires to remind the public they step in to help in all sorts of situations.
