A man has been charged with sexual assault by penetration following an incident in Hudson's Field nearly two years ago.
Nicholas John Wells, 28, is accused of carrying out the assault following an investigation by police.
He appeared at Swindon Magistrates Court earlier today (March 27).
The incident happened in Hudson's Field, in Castle Road, Salisbury on May 19 2019.
Since the incident took place, police have issued a number of appeals hoping to find the offender.
Crimestoppers had also offered a £5,000 reward.
Wells, of Eyres Way, Salisbury has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Swindon Remand Court on Saturday March 27.
