Families with school-age children in Wiltshire can now access rapid Covid tests.
In order to crack down on asymptomatic cases and offer households extra reassurance, adults living with primary, secondary and college-age children can get tested twice a week.
This also applies to adults in their childcare or support bubbles.
The lateral flow tests are available from:
- Community testing sites
- The Beehive park and ride in Salisbury and the Greyhound testing site in Trowbridge
- Online through the Government's website
- Through your employer if you work in the health and social care sector
Kate Blackburn, Public Health Director at Wiltshire Council, said the tests "provide that extra reassurance particulary in the primary-age school children who are not being tested in school".
She added: "Most of the community testing at the moment and the testing kits being provided nationally are to help support those children returning to school."
Rapid tests are also available from Five Rivers leisure centre.
However, these are for symptom-free childminders and early years staff, staff in small businesses who cannot work from home and university students.
