The number of coronavirus-related deaths that occured last month in Salisbury has been revealed.

A new map created by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) shows the number of deaths between March 2020 and January 2021 where Covid-19 was mentioned as a cause on the death certificate.

It takes into account deaths which occured in hospitals, care homes, at home, communal settings and "elsewhere".

January was a particularly grim month in the fight against coronavirus due to more transmissible variants resulting in fatalities reaching record numbers.
