THIS weekend saw a milestone moment for Salisbury's Covid-19 vaccination hub.
It has only been operational in the city centre for four weeks, but 10,000 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have now been administered onsite.
The City Hall was transformed into the clinic at the end of January to assist in the mass roll out of the vaccine, and since then thousands of residents have walked through the doors to receive the important jab.
Revealing the news yesterday, February 21, deputy director of nursing at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust (NHSFT) Fiona Hyett said: "10,000 vaccinations milestone reached at Salisbury City Hall VC this morning. Big shout out to all the team who have worked so hard to make this happen."

The news has been confirmed by Salisbury NHSFT, with CEO Stacey Hunter describing it as a "fantastic achievement".
Anyone aged 65 and over can now book a Covid-19 vaccine, without first being invited by the NHS.
