A DRIVER who travelled from Hampshire to Dorset "for some fresh air" has been handed a fine by police.
Current lockdown rules state only essential journeys are permitted.
The fine was issued by officers from North Dorset Police, and the driver was sent home.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Plenty of nice views in north Dorset and Wiltshire but if you just randomly drive here for some fresh air from Hampshire, expect to be sent home or fined just like the driver of this car."
