A WOMAN in her 20s was taken to hospital after a crash involving a car and two HGVs on the A303.
Police were called to the incident on the westbound carriageway of the A303, at Tisbury, just before 7pm last night (Thursday, February 11).
The crash involved two HGVs and a Vauxhall Corsa.
Fire crews from Tisbury, Shaftesbury, Warminster and Blandford were also at the scene along with the ambulance service.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "The two HGV drivers were uninjured in the collision and were able to leave their vehicles. The driver of the Corsa, a woman in her 20s from Devon, was mechanically trapped.
"Two passengers were also uninjured and one able to leave the car by themselves. Injuries sustained by the driver were not believed to be life threatening or changing and she was taken to hospital, as a precaution, by land ambulance."
The westbound carriageway was closed from the A36 Deptford Junction to the A350 Warminster junction while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Police say no arrests were made and the road was reopened just after 11.30pm after the vehicles were recovered and the road cleared of debris.
