Heard at Salisbury Magistrates' this month:

STEPHEN THOMAS-SHERGOLD, aged 34, of Lower Road, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a vehicle while under the influence of drugs. The incident took place along Wilton Road in Salisbury on December 31, 2019, when Thomas-Shergold had BZE in his blood - the main metabolite of cocaine. He indicated a plea of guilty to possessing cannabis and cannabis resin. He was fined a total of £300 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £85. His driving record was endorsed with 10 points.

GYULA ANTAL, aged 35, of Mount Close, Honiton, pleaded guilty to driving a Mercedes lorry along the A303 in Salisbury on January 27 last year without due care and attention. He was fined £307 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £85. His driving record was endorsed with five points.

Heard at Swindon Magistrates’:

JOE FAIRBROTHER, aged 33, of Taylor Crescent, Ludgershall, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle in Everleigh Down while under the influence of drugs. On April 8 last year the defendant drove a Suzuki Jimny along the V Crossing with a proportion of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol - one of the cannabinoids identified in cannabis - in his blood. He indicated a plea of guilty to possessing 6.5 grams of cannabis. It was also heard by Magistrates that Fairbrother indicated a plea of guilty to possessing drugs on two other days, as well as an offensive weapon. On May 7 last year Fairbrother was found in Pewsey with cannabis and a Stanley knife. On May 23 he was found in Ludgershall with a quantity of cannabis. Fairbrother was fined £205 in total and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £40. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months and must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work.

DEAN FLETCHER, aged 44, of Christie Miller Road, Salisbury, indicated a plea of guilty to being within 100m of an area in Harnham on January 3, despite a non-molestation order prohibiting him from doing so. He was discharged conditionally for six months and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22.

LEE OSBORNE, aged 24, of Walford Road, Tidworth, pleaded guilty to stealing a DeWalt leveller and two tuck pointers, to the value of £170, from a B&Q in Farnborough on August 21, 2019. Heard by a sitting of the North Hampshire Magistrates’ Court, Osborne was fined £30 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £85.
