Readers have taken stunning photographs of the Salisbury area blanketed in snow.
From the city’s famous cathedral dusted with icing sugar, to snowmen and winter wonderland gardens, there are snowy scenes everywhere this Sunday, January 24.
Amid the hardships of lockdown, the snow offers a welcome diversion.
Some of the most joyous pictures sent in by you on our Facebook page include children playing and animals – from dogs to a beautiful robin, and even a llama – relishing the wintry weather.

Other readers have rightly pointed out, though, that the snow has real consequences.
We have already highlighted some of the key roads impacted by the weather.
And residents have warned Salisbury District Hospital – already battling the worst peak of the pandemic so far – faces struggles to get staff to work.
But the hospital has since confirmed the main road to access the hospital has been cleared, and is safe and passable.
