A FURTHER four patients at Salisbury District Hospital that had tested positive for Covid-19 have died.
This brings the total number of patients to die with the virus at the hospital to 136.
Confirmed by Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, a man and a woman in their nineties, a woman in her eighties and a man in his seventies died yesterday, January 21.
All patients had underlying health conditions.
The trust added: "Our thoughts and condolences are with the patients’ families and loved ones at this very difficult and distressing time."
There are currently 153 patients being cared for at the hospital that have tested positive for Covid-19.
Yesterday there was 168 in-patients that had tested positive for the virus.
