Salisbury District Hospital has confirmed the death of five more patients due to Covid-19.
It brings the total number of coronavirus deaths at the hospital since the pandemic began to 132.
On a more positive note, the number of positive patients cared for at the hospital has gone down.
Yesterday (January 20) 188 Covid-19 patients were onsite.
Today (January 21) the figure has gone down by 20.
A spokesperson from Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust said: "Sadly, we can confirm that a further five patients who had been cared for at Salisbury District Hospital have sadly died. 132 patients in total have now passed away.
"Three women, one in her eighties and two in their nineties, and two men in their eighties died on 20th January. All patients had underlying health conditions.
"Our thoughts and condolences are with the patients’ family and loved ones at this very difficult and distressing time.
"We currently have 168 in-patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 being cared for at the hospital."
