THE total number of patients to have died at Salisbury District Hospital after testing postive for Covid-19 now stands at 109.
The hospital has today (January 16) confirmed that another two patients have died. Both had underlying health conditions.
As of 08.15am today, it said there are 163 in patients who have tested positive for Covid-19.
A statement said: "Sadly, we can confirm that another two patients who had been cared for at Salisbury District Hospital have died.
"A man in his sixties and a man in his eighties died on 15th January.
"Both patients had underlying health conditions.
"Our thoughts and condolences are with the patients’ families and loved ones at this very difficult and distressing time."
"The total number of patients that have died at Salisbury District Hospital after receiving a Covid-19 positive test result is now 109," the statement added.
