Salisbury District Hospital is dealing with a record number of coronavirus cases.
In the latest 24-hour period, a further five patients have been admitted into hospital after contracting Covid-19 while a further patient has died having tested positive for the virus.
It means 71 positive patients are currently onsite - the highest number ever. The number of Covid-19 deaths has risen to 85.
A spokesperson from Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust said: "As of 08.15am today, there are 71 in patients who have tested positive for COVID-19.
"Sadly a total of 85 patients who had tested positive for COVID-19 have died at Salisbury District Hospital.
"A woman in her nineties, with pre-existing health conditions, died on 03 January 2021.
"Our thoughts and condolences are with the patient’s family and loved ones at this difficult time."
Due to the ever-increasing number of infections and deaths across the country, further restrictions are set to be brought in.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson will make a televised address at 8pm tonight (January 4).
