TESCO staff in Salisbury have delivered some festive cheer to families in need this Christmas.
Tesco Extra Salisbury along with Tesco Metro and Express stores in the city donated 50 fresh Christmas dinner hampers and worked with Salisbury Foodbank to get them to those in need.
The hampers will feed 48 families and 188 people this Christmas.
Drivers Jo Bradshaw, Sean Whale, Andy Fry, Margaret Barnes came in on their day off to help deliver the hampers on Christmas Eve to those vulnerable families who were unable to collect them from the Southampton Road store.
Staff also helped prepare the Christmas hampers.
"We really wanted to make a difference this Christmas and for those families who are less fortunate to have the best Christmas possible," said Shaun Sennett, the manager of Tesco Extra.
"We will continue to work as a 'happy town' team to give back to the community and support local projects."
Maria Stevenson, the manager of Salisbury Foodbank, said: "The food support is amazing for those families. I am so pleased we were able to join forces and support these families."
She says the families that have received the hampers have been "overjoyed".
