COUNCILLOR John Lindley has "sincerely apologised" for comments made following the extraordinary full city council meeting on Monday night.
In an email to Cllr John Farquhar, whom he had accused of being "dishonorable and dishonest", Cllr Lindley said: "I would like to sincerely apologise for the comments I made to the Salisbury Journal this week describing your actions as dishonest and dishonourable.
"My comments were said and written in the heat of the moment on Monday. I therefore fully retract them".
Cllr Farquhar has accepted the apology.
