Coronavirus patients at Salisbury District Hospital are "slowly increasing," the hospital has confirmed.
As of 8.15 this morning (Tuesday November 10), nine patients who tested positive for Covid-19 are being treated at the city's hospital.
It's an increase of five since last week when only four positive patients were being looked after on site.
The number of deaths related to coronavirus remains 59.
Last week, Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust asked residents to respect the restrictions of the new lockdown and play their part in the fight against Covid-19.
In an open letter, Chief Executive Stacey Hunter said the hospital was “fully prepared” to deal with a potential surge of patients.
Ms Hunter also reassured residents that other non-urgent services would remain open and people asked to attend hospital for appointments should do so.
