A NEW Chief Executive has started at Salisbury Hospital.
Stacey Hunter started in her position on Tuesday, September 1, and replaces Cara Charles-Barks MBE.
She joins the Trust from Bradford and Airedale Foundation Trusts from where she had recently been seconded to the Nightingale Hospital Yorkshire and the Humber as Chief Operating Officer.
Stacey started her career as a nurse in 1990 at Hull Hospitals and Leeds Teaching Hospitals.
The Trust’s Chair, Nick Marsden, said: “We offer a warm welcome to Stacey. I know that she will continue to drive the progress we have made here at Salisbury over the past four years.”
New Trust Chief Executive Stacey Hunter said: “It is a real honour to be part of a team that is focussed on delivering compassionate and high quality care. As well as joining the team at the hospital, I am looking forward to becoming part of the local community."
“I appreciate I am joining at a particularly challenging and difficult period as we recover from the initial impact of COVID-19 and head into winter.
“The current situation presents challenges for everyone but despite the inevitable disruption, I know that our team will continue to provide high quality and compassionate care and experiences for patients.”
