POLICE investigating the burglary of a property which took place while the occupants were out for their daily exercise have identified a suspect.
The incident happened in Australian Avenue between 12pm and 12.30pm on Saturday April 18.
The offender gained entry by climbing up a drainpipe and entering through a rear upstairs window, while the occupants were out for their daily exercise.
Jewellery and computers were stolen, as well as a car, which was parked outside the address. The stolen vehicle was later recovered on the Hampshire/Surrey border.
Following an appeal for information, police have now identified a suspect who has been arrested in the Hampshire area for similar offences.
He is due to be interviewed by Wiltshire officers in due course in relation to this offence.
