Salisbury District Hospital is urging people to "not be selfish" after hand sanitiser was stolen from a wall dispenser earlier today.
In a Facebook post, a spokesperson from the hospital said a hand sanitiser cartridge was removed by a visitor.
The post reads: "Today a visitor at Salisbury hospital stole a hand sanitiser cartridge from a wall dispenser - remember hospital sanitiser is there for the protection of vulnerable patients staff & visitors. Don’t be selfish - we must work together to protect each other".
A sign has now been put up next to the dispenser urging visitors to "think of others" and "not steal the cartridge".
Hand sanitiser is being used to prevent the spread of coronavirus which three people in Wiltshire have now tested positive for.
