FIREFIGHTERS had to deal with four rubbish bin fires in Salisbury last night.
The incidents involved four rubbish bins, one of which was a dog waste bin.
The first fire in The Greencroft was reported at 6.46pm followed by another at 6.56pm at Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre and Wyndham Park at 7.26pm and again at The Greencroft at 7.42pm.
A spokesperson for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said: "At 18:46 fire control took the first of a number of calls to a dog waste bin that had been set alight in Salisbury. One fire engine from Salisbury was mobilised to deal with."
The fire service say that "over the course of the next hour fire control took calls to three other bins that had been set on fire in and around Salisbury."
A fire service spokesperson added: "This used both the whole time crew and the on-call crew to deal with these incidents. Wiltshire Police also attended."
Police believe the fires were started deliberately but say "at this stage, no suspects have been identified".
