FAKE fifty pound notes have recently been used in a Salisbury clothing store.
At around 4.30pm on Wednesday, January 29, a man went into H&M in the Old George Mall and paid for a pair of socks using a £50 counterfeit Scottish note, receiving legal tender as change.
He then asked for change from another fake £50 note.
Wiltshire Police has released a CCTV image of the man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, pictured above.
If you recognise this man contact the police on 101 quoting crime reference number 54200010857.
