SALISBURY'S newly elected MP John Glen has celebrated his election success by continuing a special singing tradition.
Mr Glen retained the Salisbury seat with a slightly increased majority of 19,736, which was 2,403 more than 2017.
He took to the balcony of the White Hart Hotel to sing "The Vly be on the Turmut".
The result was declared in Five Rivers Leisure Centre just after 5am this morning (Friday, December 13).
However, Mr Glen did lose votes, having won 30,280 this election compared to 30,952 two years ago.
