THE unmistakable sound of Pink Floyd will be taking over Salisbury this Friday.
Salisbury Live, Salisbury City Council and The Victoria & Albert have teamed up to present the bash in the market square, which is the finale to the Summer Friday Live programme.
Taking place on Friday, the free live music events have been taking place in the market square on Fridays in the lead up to the Summer Bash.
Organisers say audiences can expect a “big stage, big sound and a stellar line up” headlined by top Pink Floyd tribute, All Floyd.
Salisbury Live brings free music to venues across the city with events taking place in May and June.
Salisbury Live co-ordinator Colin Holton said: “It’s great that Salisbury City Council have really embraced this project and encouraged it to happen.
“Once again the Salisbury music community have pulled together to make such an exciting event possible, I can’t wait .”
The Summer Bash takes place from 5pm to 10.45pm. And entry is free.
The line-up also includes Party Animalz, The Neighbourhood Strange, Solarbird and JACK CARD and it’s all free entry!
There will also be real ale, lager, a cider bar and gin bar as well as food including vegan and veggie options.
This event is a fundraiser for Salisbury Live 2020.
Salisbury Live has thanked Berry Telecom, Tinga, The Chapel and Value Cars for their support in making the Summer Bash happen.
Salisbury Area Board awarded a grant of £1,625 to support the music event back in July.
