ROAD closures were put in place as police dealt with a medical incident in Fisherton Street, Salisbury.
Police have now confirmed the incident was not part of the major ongoing investigation.
A bus was cordoned off earlier this afternoon with police and ambulance crews at the scene.
Two police cars were at either side of the bus.
A police spokesman said: "We can confirm that our Community Policing Team dealt with a medical incident on St Pauls Road, Salisbury this afternoon.
"Cordons were in place in the area to enable officers to deal effectively with the situation which involved a man in his sixties.
"As a precaution steps were taken to ensure public safety and the man was assessed and found to have had a medical episode.
"The road will re-open shortly. We apologise for any inconvenience and can reassure the community that there is no need for concern and this is not part of the ongoing major investigation."
