A WOMAN who escaped from police has been jailed for three years and two months after she was found with crack cocaine.
Skye Wooldridge, 21, was convicted of possessing class A drugs on January 16 at Plymouth Crown Court after she was tracked down by police.
Wooldridge, previously called David, was arrested in Lower Street, Salisbury, October 19 when she was found in possession of crack cocaine.
She was then taken to Royal United Hospital in Bath as medical precaution but escaped as she was leaving the emergency department.
Following a police appeal Wooldridge was eventually found in the Thames Valley area.
She was later charged with escaping from lawful custody, as well as breaching a suspended sentence order, possession of class A drugs, breach of a Community Behaviour Order and resisting a constable.
PC Joe Shanklin said: “Wooldridge has been uncooperative since her arrest - she escaped from officers at the RUH and was later located in the Thames Valley area several days later.
“I am satisfied with the sentence handed out – removing class A drugs from Salisbury’s streets.
"If you suspect drug activity to be taking place in your area, we'd like to hear from you. All information will be dealt with confidentially."
